About

The Law Pod was founded by Fitz Collings in August 2008 to provide mobile phone reference software to the legal community.

Rather than embracing a traditional business model, after-tax profits from the sale of our software will be used to provide financial aid in the form of grants and scholarships to law students in need.

Fitz is a graduate of Cornell University and Harvard University, and is now a third-year law student at William & Mary Law School. He intends to pursue a career in intellectual property law upon graduation.

Our database programmer, Joe Wang, joined The Law Pod in 2009. Joe recently graduated from Western Reserve Academy, and is pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science at CalTech.

Alumni

Former lead programmer, Benjamin Strahs, joined The Law Pod for the 2009 academic year. Ben holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Philosophy from The College of William & Mary, and now works at Facebook’s Palo Alto office, improving Facebook application development.
